NEW GARDEN
OF REMEMBRANCE

The Garden of Remembrance has been especially designed to honour those Old Tonbridgians who fought and died for their country in the Great War. The new garden will be located next to The Chapel, on the site of the old Rose Garden.

OLD BIG SCHOOL GALLERY

Projects

A space for enquiry and reflection designed to bring contemporary art to the heart of the School. It provides a space for a varied exhibition programme which attracts audiences from within as well as beyond the school community. We are grateful to all the supporters that made our first Excellence for All project such a resounding success.

CHADWICK DIVINITY BUILDING

The 2017 Telephone Campaign

WHAT IS THE TELEPHONE CAMPAIGN?
The Telephone Campaign is run by the Tonbridge School Development Office with the specific objectives of raising money for Excellence for All, updating the community on school news and forthcoming events and answering any questions there may be. This summer the team of  14 Young OTs, who will be based in Old Judde language laboratory, will be talking to parents and OTs between 3rd – 17th July.

As many will know, Tonbridge is going through its biggest development programme since the 19th Century. Following the launch of the Excellence for All campaign, we have made tremendous progress transforming the School campus, improving the educational experience for all boys, and offering more bursaries to families who would otherwise have been unable to consider a Tonbridge education.

The Official Opening of the Smythe Library

Tonbridge School’s transformed Smythe Library has been officially unveiled by Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra – over 50 years after she opened the original building.

The library, which was constructed in 1962, has been extended and refurbished to reflect the growing school, changes in the curriculum, the use of modern technology and the need for flexible teaching spaces.
